Anyone cutting back on what you buy at the supermarket?

Walked into my local coop today to find that they had loads of high price items on their 'eat by date', such as lamb shoulders, sirloin steak, premium chickens, posh bacon and sausages, vegan bollocks etc in the bargain bin, reduced considerably. For example, two 8oz sirloin steaks, £4, artisan bacon, 79p, normally £4, the lamb a third of the normal price.
This tells me that people in my town are very worried indeed.
PS. I bought loads and stuck it all in the freezer, apart from the steaks, which I will let mature for a week or so.

As far as I can see the prices in the supermarkets in Brussels and Luxembourg have not gone up anything like as much as in the UK. Food prices have risen around 7% in the EU compared to 8% in UK they say but these figures probably massaged by the Tory scum.
Brexit has mugged you all off.
